This sad accident occurred a little over a week ago. Melanie was quite saddened by the loss, but after a few days of coping, she did throw the awful thing in the garbage. Nap time and bedtime are still difficult. Her teddy and blankets always end up thrown on the floor; that girl can have a temper when she wants. But she is certainly improving! Jon said that she only cried for about a minute tonight (it probably helped that mommy wasn't home)!

Ah, the elusive cutter of the pacifier!! :) We had to get rid of #1's bottles/pacifiers a few months before #2 was born!! I'm glad #2 is old enough that we won't have to worry about that if we have another.
My kids were spread far enough apart we didn't have those problems, but thankfully they didn't keep pacifiers very long!
