Happy Valentines Day!
We had a very nice Valentine's Day! Savannah got to take valentines to school and she brought home a good amount of valentines and candy. I was glad that she so willingly shared with Melanie! I made Savannah write (more like trace) her name on each of her valentines. Some turned out better than others, but she needs the practice. And I know that I don't practice with her like I should.
We also got to go and have lunch at California Pizza Chicken (as Savannah calls it) with Jon. It's always a trip to go and have lunch with him at work, but it's always lots of fun. And it's great to get to spend some time with your valentine on Valentine's Day!
We also went over to my parents' house. My mom had decorated a valentine bag for everyone. So all of us got a few valentines and some candy. I think that my family loves Jon more than me because he got 2 Paydays and a Big Hunk in his bag, along with a few small candies. While I only got a few chocolates. But we had a fun time getting valentines.
And then we celebrated Brandon's birthday with some cake and ice cream. Can't really go wrong with strawberry covered chocolate cake and some rocky road!

Mod Podge
I can't say that I'm a very crafty person, but I was so proud of myself for making this little sign at our RS Enrichment Activity this last week. 
I know that my sister-in-law, Maria, uses Mod Podge all the time and makes lots of creative things. She's always telling me how easy it is to use and it was pretty easy. So here's one more little decoration that I made myself!

Chuck E. Cheese
My mother-in-law loves to take all of her grandkids to Chuck E. Cheese. Of course, they all love going too. Melanie is finally old enough to understand what is going on and completely enjoyed their last visit. It's so nice for them to go and play with cousins and I get to spend some time with my mother and sister-in-law! 
As you can see, Savannah is completely loving this ride!
I thought that is picture of Melanie playing an arcade type game was just too funny. Kind of reminded me of her daddy!

Desert Fun
A few weeks ago, we went with my family out to Usery Pass Park. It was early evening and so I went with the kids over to a little playground that they have out there.
My mom made some beans and dutch oven biscuits. They were so good! We also roasted marshmallows and had smores. 
I made a handful of banana boats and we had some peach cobbler to celebrate Andrea's birthday! 
We had a great time and so did the girls. It was about as close to real camping as we're going to get for a little while (or maybe a long while)!
