AZ Museum for Youth

This past week, my mom went with the girls and I to the Arizona Museum for Youth. We've only been there once before and we had lots of fun both times! We spent about half of our time in their first exhibit: Table Manners. My mom tried to instruct the girls on how to set the table. Savannah has become very helpful at getting the table set recently and she did a great job. Melanie just enjoyed carrying all the play food around.

.I also got a kick watching Savannah try and use chopsticks! She actually didn't do to bad and managed to get the fake sushi in her mouth! The girls also got to color on a paper plate. Savannah decided to make a mommy. Melanie had fun scribbling all over the plate that my mom was so neatly designing. She also managed to get marker on herself and my mom.

Then we spent the second half of our time in ArtVille. It's a very large make-believe and play area. The girls loved the play kitchen and the family room. Savannah also enjoyed the slide. Their favorite part was dressing up. Savannah first put on the doctor's coat, which she thought was really neat. Then she put on the fire fighter's gear! Melanie even got brave enough to put on the fire fighter's stuff, and she completely loved it! She could have run all over in that outfit. Overall, we just had a ton of fun and the girls were so sad to leave!
