The girls ate so much candy on Easter that we wouldn't have been surprised if either of them tossed their cookies. But let me tell you, I was completely caught off guard when I checked on Spencer before going to bed that night and found him asleep in his own barf. The poor baby didn't have any treats at all, but he had hurled his entire dinner all over everything. Why does it always have to be tomato based? He woke up the next day with diarrhea too. I figured it was just a bug and he'd be better the next day. But when the vomiting and diarrhea continued into Tuesday, then I took Spencer to the doctor. The doctor said to just keep him hydrated and sent us on our way. We got back home from the doctor and Savannah started calling to me from the bathroom. She had actually thrown-up in the toilet! I didn't even know she wasn't feeling well, but I was so proud of her for running to the bathroom. We all took naps and Melanie woke up and tried to find me while I was feeding Spencer and ended up barfing on our family room floor. I guess that new carpet had to get broken in some time. Melanie ended up throwing-up 4 times in 2.5 hours. Luckily, the last 3 times were all in her barf bowl. She got over it the quickest and didn't throw-up anymore after that. Savannah and Spencer continued to take turns vomiting. I don't know how many times I washed all of Spencer's bedding. Savannah was so great to try and make it to the bathroom or use a bowl. It took a week, but we finally got over it! I knew that the girls weren't totally feeling back to themselves when I found them both passed out on the floor while watching a movie.
I'm just so glad that we're all feeling better. Except Spencer now has a cold and the girls have started calling him The Snot Monster!

I've decided out of all the body fluids, barf is the worst one to be covered in. That smell sticks around for days. Even after a shower.
I'm glad your passed the worst and hopefully some fun days are ahead.
oh how miserable! Three sick kids at once can't be any fun. Although it's probably better having them all sick at the same time than taking their separate turns...I'd rather have 1 big week of sickness and barf-cleaning than 3 weeks of sickness!
I am so sorry! I HATE the stomach flu! Give me anything but that. Hallie & Abby had the same thing a few weeks ago. It lasted an entire week for us too. I almost took Abby to the ER after 4 days of puking and diahrea and eating nothing, but luckily it went away. I can't imagine having 3 kids with it at the same time!
Oh, poor babies! And poor Kristy too!
So sorry to hear about you guys being sick. I think we are all feeling better. Except last night Johnathan threw up all over me. I hope it was nothing since he hasn't done it since. I do not like cleaning up throw up, Good job Savannah for trying to make it to the toilet.
Oh that's so sad! I hate it when kids get sick, especially that kind! Glad everyone is doing better from that. Hopefully Spencer will get over this quick too!
So sorry!!!!
Oh, man - that is not fun for anyone! My nephew spent 2.5 days in the hospital after being severely dehydrated from his flu bug. :( Thank goodness they all are doing well now.
*big Mommy award to YOU!*
Poor little sick chicks! Glad everyone is feeling better - and yes, the mystery is why is it always tomato based?
We have barf nightmare memories of hotdogs and mozzarella stick circles... uch.
