My family has a tradition of going to the cemetery on Memorial Day and cleaning the headstones of my Stradling relatives. So I took Savannah and Melanie and went with my family to the cemetery and let Savannah help.
One of my dad's brothers drowned as a child and another brother died at age 16 from kidney failure.
He also had an uncle, Johnny Stradling, that was killed in WW2 from a land mine. 
I had a good time with my family and enjoy going there on occasion. My grandmother and great-grandparents are also buried there in the Mesa Cemetery.

What a great tradition! It's hard thinking of what to do for Memorial Day. I like that
