Pie in the Sky

Being the math nerd that I am, I totally wished Jon a happy Pi Day on Sunday, since it was 3.14. If I made pies, then I probably would have whipped one up for the day. But that's still a skill that I need to work on. However, my good friend Amanda also decided to take advantage of the day and officially launched her new photography company: Pie in the Sky Photography! She does a fabulous job, just look at some of the pictures on her site; absolutely amazing! Plus I just couldn't pass up this opportunity to help her advertise, when she's offering a free family photo shoot. And in case you were wondering, Pecan Pie is my favorite. I also love Banana Cream and Coconut Cream! Mmmm, yummy!

Lovin' the New Place

Well, it's only taken 2 weeks, but we finally have internet and have our computer mostly put together! So now I can get back to posting regularly!
We are loving our new little place! Savannah grew tired of it after about a week and informed us that she was ready for a new "new house". But she certainly loves her new room and is excited to show it off to everyone. She also loves having her own bathroom, which she shows off too; even though she still isn't using it for it's main purpose!

It's strange to have our own kitchen again, but it was nice that Savannah likes to help out with the dishes - or at least try to help out. And one of my favorite things is being able to back up the driveway, almost all the way to the front door and be able to unload groceries! It's just so conveniently handy! All in all, we're enjoying the new place!

What was I doing 10 years ago?
I had just finished my sophomore year at Mesa High, so I was probably bumming around the house, enjoying my summer, and getting out to play tennis in the mornings.

Five snacks I enjoy:

5. "Engineering" clothes (that is the name that my dad gave to clothes that don't do much to "advertise" your body)

The Wii

Jon went and got a Nintendo Wii last Friday.

It is his Graduation/Pass the Bar/Father's Day present! Maybe I should just throw his Birthday in there too! We've had a lot of fun playing it though! Almost all of his family has played with us and totally loved it! Even Bob was getting into the tennis with Jon. So far, my favorite parts have been watching Jane beat the tar out of Bob with the boxing game and getting to play tennis with Rose and Stacy (and Jon too, of course)! Stacy played with me last night and was totally getting into it. And man, she was putting some heat on some of her serves!

So we're all enjoying it and getting a workout too!

The Favorite Shirt

About a year ago I bought Savannah a lime green shirt that says, "Sunshine" on it.

It is absolutely her favorite. She probably wears it once a week, and is always asking if it is clean. Unfortunately, it is getting to small for her now, even though she still wears it!

So I've bought her some other clothes that are the same color in the hopes that she will like them and we can pack the "Sunshine Shirt" away.
