Lovin' the Yard

Savannah and Melanie love being out back! It's so nice that the weather is cooling off slighly. I cleared our patio off so they could ride their little bikes and scooter around back there. They are totally loving it!

Unpacking Fun

Jon and I have unpacked almost all of our boxes now. Of course the girls like to try to help too. Savannah's idea of unpacking it to just throw everything out of the box onto the floor and then climb inside the box. Here's a picture of her "helping" while she's getting dressed.

Sweet Ride

Savannah loves this Princess scooter that Grandma gave her for her birthday! She is always riding it around. I'm probably too nice of a mom because I let her ride it on the tile in the house. I just don't want to have to go outside and watch her ride when it's so hot! But she loves to ride it down to our mailbox. She even knows which box is ours. She tries to open it, but the lock is a little tricky for a 3 year old!
.
But thanks for the scooter Grandma!

Just like Dad

Savannah can be so silly sometimes. Everytime we eat grapes she shoves one in each cheek! It's pretty cute! I'm not sure if she's just seen Jon do it a ton of times or if it's just genetic, but Jon is always playing with the grapes.

Car Seat Fun

Melanie is getting so big! I'm sure that it is time for her to be in a regular carseat, but she's still using our infant carrier. She saw it propped up in the family room and decided that it would be fun to use it as a chair to sit in while she looked at books!

Grandpa Time

It's nice to have my parents living just around the corner. They have a little red wagon that my girls love to ride in. A few weeks ago, my dad brought the girls home for me in the wagon. They had so much fun riding in it and then Grandpa stayed and played with them. They had fun tickling and reading with him!

Daddy Time

My girls love their daddy! They are always so happy to see him when he comes home from work! And they both love to snuggle with him! I know that Jon loves it too!

More Wii

Savannah has figured out that there are a few games on our Wii that she can play. Every other day she asks if she can bowl or golf. So I just put it in training mode and off she goes! It's pretty funny to watch her do it! She is actually pretty good at golf.

Here's a shot of her bowling and one of her boxing!

I don't know if you can tell, but she has her tongue out in the bowling picture.

The Busted Toe

Over a month ago, Savannah was trying to push Grandma's large wooden step-stool through the kitchen. It got stuck on one of the tiles and so she tipped it back a little bit to try and get it unstuck. Unfortunately, it worked a little to well and she ended up dropping it right on her big toe! At first I thought that she was just making a big fuss about nothing, but then I looked at her toe! Ouch! I assume that the picture speaks for itself. I'm pretty sure that she'll lose the toenail at some point. But I try to keep her toenails painted so that she won't notice it as much and she'll stop showing it to everyone.

Lovin' the New Place

Well, it's only taken 2 weeks, but we finally have internet and have our computer mostly put together! So now I can get back to posting regularly!
We are loving our new little place! Savannah grew tired of it after about a week and informed us that she was ready for a new "new house". But she certainly loves her new room and is excited to show it off to everyone. She also loves having her own bathroom, which she shows off too; even though she still isn't using it for it's main purpose!
It's strange to have our own kitchen again, but it was nice that Savannah likes to help out with the dishes - or at least try to help out. And one of my favorite things is being able to back up the driveway, almost all the way to the front door and be able to unload groceries! It's just so conveniently handy! All in all, we're enjoying the new place!
